HYBRID - Technical Event
Tax and Climate Change
Paul Howard will give an overview of UK tax policy in relation to tackling climate change and the Government’s Net Zero Strategy. He will look at what changes have been made and need to be made in relation to UK taxation in order to help achieve the aim of Net Zero, both in terms of new taxes and amendments to existing UK tax legislation. This overview will range from personal taxation in relation to electric cars, capital allowances, and the impact of carbon credits, the carbon border adjustment mechanism and other ‘green’ measures, which are likely to become key factors in many business decisions.

This will be a hybrid event - video and in person. If you would like to join by video call, please let us know in the 'Additional Information' section at checkout. A link will be sent to you shortly before the event begins.
