Tax and Insolvency
HYBRID - Technical Event

Tax and Insolvency

calendar
Wednesday 7 September 2022
time
6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
As any insolvency practitioner will tell you, it's about trying to save the individual/company and salvage as much as possible, not necessarily a question of 'just' liquidating or going bankrupt. Karyn Jones, Partner at Shaw Gibbs will discuss the signs to recognise when you client needs to take advice, the implications of tax debts now that HMRC has second preferential status, and how this affects the advice and options for your clients.

We also look at how an insolvency practitioner may be able to assist with getting settlements with HMRC, without HMRC making the taxpayer bankrupt. There will be case studies and an opportunity to ask questions

This will be a hybrid event - video and in person. If you would like to join by video call, please let us know in the 'Additional Information' section at checkout. A link will be sent to you shortly before the event begins.

This event is for professionals with up to 10 years PQE. Please respect this requirement to allow for effective networking.
